Do the DNA Base Pairing Game to see how DNA is copied exactly when cells divide, resulting in a code that all cells retain and can give to offspring as heritable information.
Now wrap this up by making edible DNA in an optional activity.
Follow pages 3-5 and Sequence 1 to make your first strand of edible DNA. Then pair your Sequence 1 with the correct colors of bases and join up with the second backbone of twizzler candy.
