Cellular Respiration - Unit 2, Section 4: Sample Set of Lessons
In lesson 1 we see how carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen are rearranged into different molecules in cellular respiration and photosynthesis, using a kinesthetic activity with Legos.
In lesson 2, we gather evidence that exercise increases our carbon dioxide output. By inference, our muscle cells burn more glucose during exercise to help them move.
In lesson 3, we read the details of cellular respiration in our textbook, co-authored by our teacher. This includes a video explanation and questions. We have access to Flexi, an ai chatbot for Life Science within the textbook.
In lesson 4, we build graphing skills as we find out for sure where cell energy comes from: is it from "energy drinks"?
Finally, we bring all the activities together in lesson 5 and apply our math and science skills to consider if our lungs contain air from T.rex breath.
